Life Contentment

In their twilight years people may find contentment with their lives if they feel satisfied with, and proud of, the way they lived their lives. It would help, of course, to be in good health with few or no regrets, and with the capacity to be aware and to think.
Of course this is an ideal. Life presents many twists, turns, and setbacks and so it may be difficult to be satisfied and proud. Nevertheless, a steady path with a philosophical and humane attitude, and a warm view of the future, might be sufficient to smooth the path and provide a warm view of the past.
